As the demo started making the rounds via the international tape trading circuit, the group honed their live chops performing alongside such homegrown outfits as Watchtower, Solitude Aeturnus and Helstar.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eARCANE\u003c\/strong\u003e kept building their “band to watch” status by supporting touring national acts like Fates Warning, Sanctuary, Death Angel, Forbidden, Atrophy, and M.O.D. In 1989, the group recorded a second demo tape that eventually secured them an album deal with the then upstart record label, Wild Rags. 1990 saw the release of \u003cem\u003eDestination Unknown\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eARCANE\u003c\/strong\u003e’s forward-thinking debut album.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eDespite garnering rave reviews from the heavy metal scribes of the day, and the band beginning to write new material for their follow-up release, the members of \u003cstrong\u003eARCANE\u003c\/strong\u003e decided to go their separate ways. One final \u003cstrong\u003eARCANE\u003c\/strong\u003e demo was released as the \u003cem\u003eAmbiguity\u003c\/em\u003e EP in 1994.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eNow, 20 years since their last release, Divebomb Records presents \u003cem\u003eWorlds Colliding: The Anthology\u003c\/em\u003e, a 2-CD set containing all of \u003cstrong\u003eARCANE\u003c\/strong\u003e’s studio recordings. An exquisite package, all of the audio has been digitally remastered and both demos have been faithfully remixed by original drummer, Jim King.
